Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose Stearoxy Ether
INCI: HYDROXYPROPYL METHYLCELLULOSE STEAROXY ETHER
A cellulose derivative modified with both hydroxypropyl-methyl and stearoxy groups. Used primarily in Japanese sunscreen formulas (notably Shiseido/Elixir SPF products) to create a smooth, non-tacky film-forming gel texture.
