What it does
A distinct crosslinked form of sodium hyaluronate (a different crosspolymer chemistry than Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer) used as a humectant and film-forming agent, notably in dissolving microneedle patches. As an humectant ingredient, it is particularly valued for forms a hydrating matrix distinct from standard sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, provides sustained surface moisture retention, and often used in microneedle-patch and dissolvable-film formats.
Skin type guide
Works across all skin types, but is especially beneficial for dry and dehydrated skin. Oily skin types also benefit — proper hydration helps regulate sebum production.
How to use it
Apply to slightly damp skin to maximise moisture retention — humectants work by drawing water to the skin, so they need a water source to pull from. Use early in your routine, before heavier creams or oils.
