An extract from the flowers or whole plant of Hyacinthus orientalis (common hyacinth). Used primarily as a fragrance-contributing botanical in perfumed skincare and body care. The extract introduces characteristic volatile compounds including cinnamyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, and homoveratric acid, several of which appear on EU fragrance allergen disclosure lists. Functional benefits beyond scent are minimal at cosmetic use levels. Fragrance-sensitive individuals should exercise caution.
A synthetic floral fragrance chemical (CAS 107-75-5) with a rose/lily scent profile, regulated as a mandatory-declaration fragrance allergen under EU Cosmetics Regulation and Annex III as amended by Regulation (EU) 2023/1545.
A naturally occurring phenylpropanoid with a warm, spicy-floral clove character. Found in ylang ylang and clove essential oils. Listed as a regulated fragrance allergen under EU Cosmetics Regulation.

The essential oil steam-distilled or solvent-extracted from Jasminum officinale flowers, used primarily as a natural fragrance ingredient in prestige cosmetics.
The hydrosol (floral water) obtained by steam distillation of Jasminum officinale flowers, used as a natural fragrance and mild conditioning agent, distinct from jasmine extract and jasmine essential oil.
The volatile oil obtained from Jasminum officinale flowers (CosIng Ref 34776), distinct from Jasminum Officinale Flower Oil (Ref 39754), used in cosmetics primarily as a perfuming and skin-conditioning ingredient and subject to IFRA restrictions and EU fragrance allergen labeling requirements.
