Cnidium Officinale Root Water is a hydrosol or aqueous distillate from the roots of Cnidium officinale (Japanese lovage, known as Senkyu in Japan and Chuan Xiong / 川芎 in TCM). The root contains ligustilide, butylidenephthalide, ferulic acid, and other bioactives with anti-inflammatory and circulatory-stimulating properties.
